How much does it cost?
Unlike many other websites we don’t hide our costs! Skype lessons are usually £70 for one hour but are currently on sale at £45 per hour – if the Internet connection drops then we just make up the time.
How Does it Work? What do I need?
Skype is a fantastic format for teaching – firstly you need to download and install the free Skype software onto your computer (www.skype.com). When you book your first lesson we schedule a brief test session beforehand to check that your internet connection is fast enough (most are these days). Most computers have built in microphones and speakers so we will be able to see and hear each other clearly.
Can we jam?
Unfortunately the Skype system can’t quite handle that at present – it is most effective when audio is travelling one way. However, you’ll receive backing tracks to play along to and Stuart will be able to critique and help you in real time.
Acoustic or Electric?
Either are fine, it’s entirely up to you.
I get nervous playing in front of people, even just one!
Don’t we all! Remember you are doing this for you own personal development and enjoyment so there is nothing to get nervous about.
How do I book and pay?
